| Javed Hashimi And Imran Khan In Press Conference |
Karachi: Javed Hashmi has formally announced his joining in
the PTI and said that Imran Khan is champion of politics and determined to
bring change in Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference flanked by Pakistan
Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood
Qureshi,Hashmi said that he had no differences with Pakistan Muslim
League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shabaz
Sharif.
“I had no differences with my ex party, I just left the
party, seeing Imran Khan’s speed to bring change in Pakistan,” he added.
He said that he joined Imran Khan due to similarity of
thought, adding that he had been struggling for accountability of politicians
and Imran Khan has also been struggling for 15 years.
Hashmi said that PTI workers were committed and determined
during lawyers movement, reflecting vision of their leader Imran Khan.
He dispelled the notion that the establishment was backing
the PTI and Imran Khan.
Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan said that his party
would greatly benefit from the experience of javed Hashmi. He said that Hashmi
unconditionally joined the PTI and never demanded any position in the party.
Replying
a query regarding establishment, Khan asked the reporter whether he thought he
had ever been controlled by anyone in the past.
