Destruction in Tharparkar due to Rain

Tharparkar District:

Tharparkar has received more than 1157 MM rain in last 30 days , It is recorded of 100 years , In this rain flood hundreds of thousands of katcha houses are damaged / destroyed , and all roads Tharparkar, which leads to province are damaged.
15 feet water was reported in Naukot town (Tharparkar).People vacated their homes and moved to higher places. According to reports, people are still caught in 250 villages. In camps, people are crying for food, medicine, clean water and other basic/life saving things.About 10 feet water inundated Siraan Colony Mithi, Diplo, Vijooto, and other low-lying areas of the district.
· There are two UCs of Taluka Diplo; Kaloi and Bhitaro worst affected and there morethan 100 villages are inundated

· These both UCs fall in barrage area and crops have been damaged entirely
Inhabitants have been compelled to migrate to sandy areas More than 2500 families are displaced

· As per Emergency Cell of District Govt Tharparkar there are 46 relief camps established so far and there are more than 10,000 people hosted.
· In said 46 relief camps local as well as people migrated from nearest Districts;
Mirpurkhas and Badin are staying.
· Revenue Department is in process of conducting the detailed assessment.
