He was honored with Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2002 for his outstanding contribution to Hindi Cinema. He has a special love for films and film making. The songs of his films were chartbusters and were listened with equal thrill even today.
His last film was ‘Chargesheet’ in 2011. Dev Anand will always be remembered for his unique style. His departure is a big loss to the Hindi film industry.
